On 27th June, members of the French Chamber attended a roundtable on the new duty (from October 2024) on employers to prevent sexual harassment.

The session, part of the People & Workplace Series, began with a networking breakfast, allowing our members to share their experiences and form new connections. The event provided our attendees with an opportunity to discuss the new duty (effective from October 2024) on employers to prevent sexual harassment.

Kirsty Churm, Legal Director, Employment law (Kingsley Napley) and Matthew Hardcastle, Partner (Kingsley Napley) focused on strategies for effectively addressing allegations of sexual misconduct, which may also amount to a criminal offence, and provided advice on conducting thorough investigations. Pia Dekkers and Melanie Stancliffe chaired the event.

We extend our thanks to Kingsley Napley for hosting the event.
