Fabienne Viala Hands Over the Presidency of the French Chamber of Great Britain

After six years of leadership, Fabienne Viala has announced her decision to step down as President of the French Chamber. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fabienne for her dedication, and the invaluable contributions she has made during her presidency. We are pleased to share that Fabienne will continue to support the Chamber as a member of the Board.

Fabienne commented:  "It has been an immense honour to serve as President of the French Chamber over the past six years. Together, we have navigated significant challenges, from the evolving landscape post-Brexit to the pandemic and the dynamic shifts in global markets. I am incredibly proud of how our community has demonstrated resilience, innovation, and unwavering commitment to strengthening Franco-British business ties. As I step down, I am confident that the Chamber will continue to flourish under new leadership, fostering collaboration and driving growth for our members in the years ahead. Thank you to all who have supported and contributed to our shared success."

We are delighted to announce that Emmanuelle Bury-Lucas, Country Head United Kingdom at BNP Paribas, will assume the role of President. Emmanuelle brings extensive international experience, strategic insight, and management expertise, which will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of the Chamber in Great Britain.

Emmanuelle shared her thoughts on the new chapter ahead: "I am truly honoured to take on the presidency of the French Chamber, and to build upon the work of those who have led before me. In a rapidly evolving global marketplace, our mission remains clear: to support, connect and empower our Franco-British business community. I look forward to working closely with our members and partners as we develop innovative strategies, champion sustainable growth, and cultivate the relationships that will drive long-term success. Together, we will continue to strengthen the ties between France and the UK, fostering a brighter, more collaborative future for all."

With Emmanuelle leading the Chamber, we are thrilled to enter an exciting new chapter, building on its strong legacy of supporting businesses and fostering dynamic partnerships.
