Alexander has a wealth of experience across London’s infrastructure and built environment sectors. He was part of the team that set up the Greater London Authority more than 20 years ago. Alex was a former Chief Economist at Arup, the leading built environment consultancy, where he led a range of projects, with a particular focus on economic analysis and funding. Alex has more than twenty-five years of policy, government and consultancy experience and has written extensively on the policy and funding challenges facing London and other British cities.
