Géraldine Appert is a dual French qualified lawyer at the Paris Bar since 1993 and a Solicitor in the UK since 2006. She worked in private practice in Paris specialising in contentious and non-contentious international private client matters. She moved to London in 2005, requalified as a solicitor and worked at Payne Hicks Beach a London Private Client legal firm.

Then in 2008 she moved to the private banking industry focusing on private international law issues and cross border tax aspects, joining Natixis and then SG. She is now part of Société Générale Private Banking Hambros (SGPB Hambros) International Wealth Planning and Fiduciary Services (WPFS). The team assists clients to find relevant strategies to meet their objectives in a cross border context with efficient tax planning and investment strategy, succession planning, and structuring cross border transaction.
