Dame Carolyn McCall DBE, CEO of easyJet, awarded a Damehood in the New Year’s Honour List in 2016 for services to the aviation industry; and Lord Davies of Abersoch CBE, who released the fifth Women on Boards report last year, will talk about how gender diversity matters within the business structure. The debate will be moderated by Peter Alfandary, Senior Vice-President of the French Chamber of Great Britain.
In addition, a cocktail reception with canapés will provide an opportunity to network and build relationships with among 100 to 150 like-minded professionals.

Dame Carolyn McCall DBE

Carolyn McCall joined easyJet on 1 July 2010 as Chief Executive Officer.

Since joining easyJet Carolyn has been responsible for improving the airline’s punctuality to industry-leading levels as well as introducing important customer innovations like allocated seating.  Her strategic focus has resulted in a series of milestone events including reaching the landmark of carrying 69m passengers annually and attracting more business travellers, with more than 12m now flying with easyJet each year – always ensuring easyJet provides easy and affordable travel for all.

Lord Davies of Abersoch CBE

Lord Davies is a Partner and the Chairman of Corsair Capital, a private equity firm specialising in financial services.  He is also the Deputy Chairman of LetterOne, and an Adviser to Teneo.  Lord Davies has a wide range of interests, including being Chairman of the Royal Academy of Arts Trustees, Chairman of Jack Wills and Chairman of the Garden Bridge Trust.  He was Minister for Trade, Investment, Small Business and Infrastructure from January 2009 until May 2010.
