A private tour of Christie’s Post War & Contemporary Art Auction

This exclusive event, hosted by Patricia Barbizet, CEO and Chairwoman of Christie's will start with a breakfast served in Christie’s Galleries and will be followed by a private view of the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, led by Edmond Francey, Head of Department.

About Patricia Barbizet - CEO and Chairwoman, Christie’s

Patricia Barbizet is CEO of Artémis, the investment company of the Pinault family. Artémis is the controlling shareholder of Kering (previously PPR), a world leader in apparel and accessories in Luxury. Other notable strategic assets of the Group include Christie’s, the world’s leading auction house, the exclusive Grand Vin of Château Latour, media and publishing companies, an investment fund in Vietnam and various other financial assets.

Patricia is CEO and Chairwoman of Christie’s International, and Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Kering. She also serves on the Boards of Total and PSA Peugeot Citroën.

In 1989, she joined the Groupe Pinault as CFO. She contributed to create Artemis in 1992. Since then, she has been Chief Executive Officer of Artémis, where she manages the whole portfolio of the Group. She has been appointed CEO of Christie’s International at the end of 2014.

She started her career as International Treasurer in Renault Véhicules Industriels, and then as CFO of Renault Crédit International. Patricia served as a qualified independent member on the Boards of Air France-KLM and Groupe Bouygues, as well as Chairwoman of the Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement Investment Committee until 2013.

She graduated from ESCP-Europe Business School in 1976.
