Since its creation in 1780, Chaumet perpetuates the Parisian savoir-faire of high jewellery.Appointed jeweller to Emperor Napoleon 1st and unrivalled master of the Empire style, Marie-Etienne Nitot, the founder of the Maison, created for Empress Josephine and then for Empress Marie-Louise.
Chaumet jewellery expresses the art of the language of love and the jewel’s emotional message: Liens, the symbol of the ties that bind friendships, families and romances. Attrape-moi… si tu m’aimes, represents the game of seduction. Dandy evokes masculine elegance whilst Joséphine symbolises the power of love. In 2013, the House launched its first floral collection, Hortensia.
The 22 year old French actress Marine Vacth is the new ambassador of Chaumet since April 2014.
