Biography of Philip Pegden
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer, TempaGoGo Ltd

With over 20 years of experience in technology, strategy and leadership roles in top FTSE 100 companies, Phil is a visionary innovator and inspirational speaker who loves keeping pace with the latest developments in digital and engineering.

Over the past 7 years, he has been focusing on leveraging digital technology to optimise HR processes.

In 2017, Phil co-founded TempaGoGo Ltd to develop a cloud-based, mobile-friendly portal to revolutionise temporary employee recruitment.

Prior to this, he spent 6.5 years as Director of Technology in the Reed Group, owner of reed.co.uk, the UK's #1 job site, and 350 recruitment offices in the UK and internationally. He proposed, designed and implemented Reed’s VMS (Vendor Management System) platform, designed to administer the whole temporary recruitment management process, implemented with major clients such as the BBC, Santander and over 8 local councils in its first year.

He was formerly a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in London in the Business Technology Office, where he led a variety of projects with a focus on technology and digital in the financial sector.

He started his career at UBS Investment Bank, leading projects in IT, Risk and Operations, where he spent 10 years.

Phil holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Cambridge and is a proficient French speaker.

In his free time, Phil loves using his vintage 1960s Leica camera to take impromptu photographs in London, visiting art exhibitions or spending time in the Science Museum with his family.
