Biography of Chris Dunford
Human Resources Director, American Express Global Business Travel

Chris is responsible for HR projects, support and services to the operations teams at American Express GBT across 20 markets in EMEA and APAC, he also works with some global support functions and manages global HR projects such as Self-Directed Teams and Incentives.

He is currently focused on restructuring projects linked to service digitisation, performance management, off-shoring and leadership/ high potential development.

Chris has worked in many industry sectors including healthcare, engineering, legal and professional services and he spent 6 years heading up a team of HR Consultants at Eversheds LLP working with external clients on change projects and interim assignments. Chris’ areas of specialism include international HR, HR Strategy development & implementation, Remuneration Committees, M&A and talent management and development.

Chris lives just South of Cambridge with his wife and two sons.
