Biography of Jeremy Greaves
Vice President, UK Corporate Affairs & Strategy, Airbus


Jeremy Greaves


Jeremy Greaves (48) has been at Airbus for more than a decade, first as Vice President of Communications and PR, and latterly as Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Strategy in the UK.


He has been part of the London based team that has helped steer the rapid evolution of the Group in UK from a little understood conglomerate of European aerospace companies to being a global aerospace & defence company with major production facilities on five continents. Airbus is also the first company in history to have a trillion dollar forward order book which equates to nearly ten years of full production.


Jeremy is a non-executive director on the Royal Navy’s strategic communications board and has been an advisor on external engagement and marketing to the Royal Academy of Engineering. He was appointed an Honorary Commander, Royal Naval Reserve, in June 2010.


After completing a short career commission in the Royal Navy he worked for a number of London based marketing agencies whilst serving concurrently as an RNR officer in the media operations specialisation. He has more than 20 years strategic marketing and communications experience in both the private and public sector. Prior to Airbus he held increasingly senior communications and public affairs positions in the Defence Procurement Agency and Lockheed Martin UK.


A keen catamaran sailor, skier and tennis player he lives by the sea in Emsworth, Hampshire.
